Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Advanced photorealistic CGI human
Video (4K HDR)
Trivia:
1) A visual effects company worked for a full year on the scene where Rachael (Sean Young) appears exactly as she did thirty-five years ago in Blade Runner (1982).
Stand-in actress Loren Peta acted out the scene, and her appearance was changed through computer graphics imagery to resemble Young. (Sean Young, which was 57 years old at the time of
filming, was brought in personally to train Peta in reproducing Rachael's characteristic gait and mannerisms). Rachael's voice was provided by a sound double.
2) At around two hours and fifteen minutes) In the climatic scene, Rachael from Blade Runner (1982) is re-created for Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), and he rejects
her because, he says, the original Rachael had green eyes. A re-viewing of Blade Runner (1982) shows a close-up of Sean Young's eyes during the Voight-Kampff test, and the same close-up is seen
in this movie when fragments of the test is played, and the eyes are green indeed. However, it's just in those close-ups that they are green - for the rest of the original movie they are brown,
which is Sean Young's natural eye color.
3) Directed by Denis Villeneuve.
